Start with a conversation
A coach should ask what brought you in, what you have trained before and whether any movement needs discussing. You do not need a perfect goal to start.
Try a few movements
Expect a warm-up and a small set of basic patterns. The coach can change the exercise, range or load if the first version does not suit you.
Ask about the plan
Before you leave, ask what a repeatable week could look like and which session you should try next. A good first visit leaves you knowing what to do when you return.
If something hurts
Stop the movement and tell the coach. This guide is general information, not medical advice; a qualified clinician should assess pain or injury.
